On 17 May 2026, during the Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival) program in Dhamtari assembly constituency, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced a development package of ₹465 crore covering 102 works for Dhamtari district.
- 102 development works covering core infrastructure, public utilities and civic amenities
- Four-lane road construction for arterial corridors in Dhamtari
- Gauravpath (heritage / civic-pride street) construction
- Kurud school received ~₹1.5 crore upgrade
- Drainage, internal roads, rural connectivity and water-supply works for villages across the district
The works are being executed through PWD, Urban Administration, Panchayat & Rural Development and the District Mineral Foundation. Bhoomi-pujan for many of the 102 works was performed digitally by the CM during the public function.
