Very Dense Forest	≥ 70%	Densely canopied forest — old growth, primary forest. Highest biodiversity.
Moderately Dense Forest	40 – 70%	Good canopy cover, includes mixed deciduous, sal, teak forests.
Open Forest	10 – 40%	Sparse canopy — degraded forests, edges of dense zones, dry deciduous areas.
Mangrove	Wetland	Tidal/wetland-adapted forest. Limited in CG (found near river deltas).
Scrub	< 10%	Stunted, degraded vegetation. Often transitional between forest and non-forest.
Non-forest	—	Agricultural, built-up, barren, water. Not shown on map.
